Peter Krajniak has begun to play the violin at the age of 5. From this moment played, listened and worked with music thousands of hours. As a classical musician he studied at the Conservatory of Bratislava, VŠMU in Bratislava and AU in Banska Bystrica. By these studies he was studying 5 years in the Pedagogic Faculty of the Comenius University to memorise something useful for life :) In his music carreer as a classic musician he was operating as a solist, chamber music player and as a concert master in many orchestras and ensembles. He recorder about 20 CDs, more than 30 movie soundtracks, music for theatre and dance performances of which some achieved significant international awards (Krajinka, directed by M. Šulík, music by V. Godár - Grand Prix for the best soundtrack on the International film festival in Gent, Belgium, Návrat Idiota, directed by S. Gedeon, music by V. Godár - Český lev (Czech Lion) for the best film soundtrack, Czech Republic), realized plenty of recordings for radio and television, often plays baroque violin and viola. He is often giving concerts in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Japan, Hungary, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, United Kingdom, Croatia, Holland and Switzerland. At these days he is a director of the Janáček Philharmonics in Ostrava in the Czech Republic. Beyond classical music he cooperates on concert performances and recordings with such artists: Marián Varga, Jana Kirschner, Vašo Patejdl, Anton Popovič, Oskar Rózsa, Maroš Hečko, Pavol Hammel, HEX, Miro Žbirka, Martin Wittgrúber, Robo Rist, Marcel Buntaj, Andrej Šeban, Juraj Bartoš, Stanko Palúch, Lubo UMELEC Priehradník, Juraj Griglák and many others... He is a member of the Double Affair compilation by the last years whose "guru" is Jozef Vlk bard of electronic music in Slovakia. He had recorded the CD called Circulation with him, many items for theatre and dance performances and for movies too, appeared and often appears on different scenes (Prague, London, Bratislava, Zadar) and on festivals (Bažant Pohoda, Hodokvas, Beckov, Wilsonic). Also many years he is performing on electronic violin on a number of parties and festivals with DJs (Dodoman, Wychitawacs, Pappi, Tráva, Funkadelic Brothers and last year with DJ CHARLE a.k.a. Melany) and he is searching after how to be thankful for his beautiful life and his talent and to give everybody his great love to the music...
